Keynote

To see what you’ve liked on Instagram, start by opening the app on your mobile device and going to your profile by tapping your profile picture in the bottom right. Then, tap the three horizontal lines in the top right corner to access the options menu. Under “How You Use Instagram,” select “Your Activity,” and then tap on “Interactions.” From there, choose “Likes” to view all your recent likes.

A casual user on Instagram likes approximately one hundred posts each week, and if you think about it, this is a big number, especially if you are looking for something that you saw a week ago on your Explore page. You may never find that perfect recipe, or the place that offers a perfect date night. However, there is a way, if you don’t know how to see what you liked on Instagram, don’t you worry now, because today’s article is all about how you can easily access and manage your liked posts.

How to See What You Liked on Instagram

As you can see, this is a straightforward process and when you follow these steps, you can easily see what you like on Instagram and find the posts that you are looking for. Also, it used to be up to 300 posts but since the last update Instagram has made, you can see sort your likes; newest to oldest, oldest to newest, all dates or certain time periods, you can choose content types such as Reels and posts, and you can choose certain authors and profiles.

What to Do If You Can’t See All Your Liked Posts

With recent updates, seeing your likes becomes so easier but sometimes you may not be able to find the one that you are looking for. This situation happens because of a couple of things that you can find below.

  1. Post Deleted: If you cannot find the post you want, you should consider that the user might delete it and if a post is deleted, you cannot find it anywhere else.
  1. Blocking: Instagram pays attention to improving user experience and it includes privacy, so Instagram allows users to block any account they want. That’s why, if you are blocked by the owner of the post, you won’t be able to see their post until they unblock you.
  1. Archived: It’s pretty much same as the deleting. If the owner archives their posts, you cannot reach them but if you have a chance to contact them, you can ask it.
  1. Instagram Errors: Even though Instagram constantly updates its software, sometimes things can go down south such as glitches and bugs. Those things can cause errors, and you may not be able to see the post you liked. To overcome these kinds of problems, you can wait for a while until it’s solved, or you can try to update your application. If you cannot figure out how to solve it after a certain time, you can contact Instagram Support. They are responsive and result oriented.

Most of the time, these factors are the ones that cause some trouble for users who want to see what they liked on Instagram. Sometimes, these can be solved, sometimes they cannot. That’s why, if you encounter something you loved on Instagram you should save it somewhere else for later.

Why Is Reviewing Your Liked Posts Important?

Now, let’s talk about more details about your likes and their importance in your Instagram experience because likes are basically building your entire Instagram feed and explore page thanks to Instagram’s algorithm.

When you like something on the platform, you are simply giving better data about yourself and your interest to Instagram and the platform finds materials that are similar to what you’ve liked. Seeing what you like on Instagram is a chance for you to fine-tune your feeds and the Explore page. In the following section you can find ways to do that for your profile.

Tips for Curating Your Instagram Feed Using Liked Posts

If Instagram suggests irrelevant posts and rubbish Reels to you, it’s perfectly natural that you are not content with your Instagram. However, when you see what you like on Instagram, you can optimize your feed and get more relevant and suitable posts to your personal preferences.

You need to change your patterns on Instagram, so visit your liked posts and remove them if you don’t want to see similar contents. After that, try to be demure, be mindful while liking posts.
