FAQs

Can cleaning up my Instagram feed improve my engagement on the platform?

No, cleaning up your feed doesn’t have any impact on your engagement rate such as likes, comments, and shares. This action is solely for removing any unwanted, undesired posts or profiles, posts that have negative impact.

How often should I clean up and reorganize my Instagram feed for the best experience?

The answer to this question is completely up to you and your preferences. You can clean up your Instagram feed and see how it goes, if you come across anything that you don’t like, you may repeat the process.

What happens to archived Instagram posts, and can they be restored later?

Yes, the main difference between archiving and deleting photos is that you can recover the photos you have archived. To unarchive the posts, go to your “Profile”, click on the horizontal lines, and choose “Archive”. In that page, you can find all the posts and Stories that you have archived and showcase them on your profile.

Will muting or blocking accounts affect my interactions with them on Instagram?

If you mute an account, Instagram won’t show anything from that account such as posts, Stories, and notes but you can manually go to their profile and check them out what have been up to, meanwhile they can still interact with your and view your content. However, blocking is completely different because it cuts off all the lines and they are not able to reach you out unless they try again with different account.
